FOR SALE

Most foals by our stallions can be multi registered,  this means if you like winning ribbons and sashes, you can go to a show and be eligible for many events rather than just a couple.
The oldest foals by Days of Gold are now three, the oldest by Nights of Gold are two.  Our other stallions are only three and younger and of these, only Tintaras Chandra has a foal on the ground, a palomino filly (born January 09) owned by Sharyn Street that will be shown at the Nationals later in the year.
Foals by Days and Nights have won supremes or state titles in all states/territories where you find them, including Queensland, NSW, ACT, Tasmania and WA.  Some of the major wins by progeny of the boys include:

National Champion Quarter Horse Filly at NPHA nationals;
Reserve National Champion at Q7 (Quarter Horse Nationals);
Supreme Quarter Horse Exhibit, Toowoomba Royal;
Best Foal of Show, Qld Youngstocks;

A and AA wins and champions and many futurity wins.
Countless other wins, champions and supremes under various registrations at ag shows, breed shows, state shows and royal shows.
One of the Nights fillies has been exported to Switzerland for reining.

We're trying to keep prices down so that we can get these foals into show homes where they will continue to campaign the names of Days of Gold and Nights of Gold. When you take into account the cost of getting a foal to weaning: the feed, worming, vet bills etc. during pregnancy and foalhood, the cost of registrations, etc. you'll understand that the prices are extremely reasonable.  Become a part of the ‘Horses of Gold’ family by buying one of these lovely babies and falling in love with the delightful natures that go with the exceptional conformation and movement – whether you want a horse to show or just to have a great worker, these horses are for you.

“Salty” – Cremello gelding.  Registered as Good Nights Sleep (A3-350)  with AQHA as well as with Dilutes Australia.  By Nights of Gold.  Out of Glenne Gold Melody, many national and state titles and supremes for led and ridden (DA and open – not registered as a Quarter Horse until her show career was over).  Salty won National Reserve Champion Weanling Gelding at 2009 Quarter Horse National Championships in Sydney.  A very quiet gelding who should mature to about 15.1 or 15.2.  He should make a good reiner or have a successful future in the dilute ring.  $5000 neg

First Blonde Day – Perlino filly.  (AQHA reg A3-295 – so for breeding, her foals by Q stallions will be Q registered).  Also registered with DA.  ‘Muffy’ is by Days of Gold out of Glenne Gold Melody (Perlino mare, many national DA titles, scores of champions and supremes led and under saddle).  Born August 07.  She should mature about 15.1 and is very sweet natured, quiet, easy to handle and a pleasure to own.  She is not started under saddle but is a good riding type with legs that should put up with many years of hard work.  $4,000 neg.

Another Blonde Day – Perlino filly (AQHA reg  A2 -2014).  Also registered with DA.  ‘Blondie’ is by Days of Gold out of Sandstorm Mingo Dell (the dam of Glenne Gold Melody).  Born August 07.  She should mature around 14.3 and, like her ¾ sister ‘Muffy’, she is very sweet natured, quiet, easy to handle and a pleasure to own.  She hasn’t been started under saddle but is a very nice riding type.  $4,000 neg.

“Tipsy” Amber Cream Champagne filly by Driftwood Traveller out of Glenne Gold Melody (11 National Dilutes Australia titles, many champions and supremes both led and under saddle).  Born October, 2009.  A very correct and showy filly carrying both Cream and Champagne (so can throw Palominos, Buckskins and Champagnes when bred to solid coloured stallions).  Mature about 14.3h.  This filly would be an ideal way to start your love affair with Champagnes – she has the potential to win many national titles and will be a wonderful broodmare in the future. Don’t go to the expense of importing a Champagne when one of the best in the world is right here.   If unsold, we will show this filly and keep her for breeding.   $8,000

“Some Day”  Buckskin colt by Days of Gold out of Matta Mia Deenah (grey mare so foal may go grey).  Born December 09.  This foal can be registered A1 with AQHA, Part Bred Arabian with AHSA, ANSA, Ancillary with DA and, if he doesn’t carry grey, he can be Buckskin registered with DA – that’s four or five registrations for this super looking fellow.  Great legs – long, straight, &all angles correct; pretty head, good length of rein, nice short back... he will win under all registrations as he is extremely difficult to fault.  His full sister was shown lightly and won several champions.  If you want a very quiet, friendly and beautiful looking gelding to compete with at halter and under saddle, or just be your best trail riding mount, this young fellow will be hard to beat.  Not negotiable on his price as we’d like to keep this one for the family, but if someone really wants a beautiful family horse that can win in the show ring, and they can convince us that they are a wonderful and permanent home, then he is for sale.  $4000

“Obi”  3yo Brown buckskin gelding by Days of Gold out of Muscari (T’bred, by Pride of Kellina; Muscari is the dam of World Cup Showjumper Valotta).  About 16 hands, still has some growing to do. Born January 2007.  Registered as ‘Endless Days’ with DA (as Buckskin and Ancillary).  Not AQHA registered as he is bred for jumping or eventing rather than western disciplines but the dam is still here if someone wishes to have him AQHA registered at their expense (personally, I don’t consider him enough of a  ‘Quarter Horse type’ to register him with AQHA).  Growing out slowly in our mountain paddock.  $4000 now before he starts under saddle.  Once he’s working under saddle, his price will be related to his ability.

“Splash”  Yearling Quarab gelding born December 08.  By Nights of Gold out of Matta Mia Saluki.  Arabian bloodlines include Ralvon Pilgrim, Crystal Fire (imp), Boyar, Sindh (imp), Rikham, Silver Moonlight (imp), etc.  Palomino, Splashed White & Sabino who should mature 15 hands or over.  Remarkable colouring with the blue eyes because of his Splash/Sabino genes.  We will register him Quarab with AHSA, Broken Coloured Dilute with DA as well as A1 with AQHA (he doesn’t carry OLWS).  If you want to stand out and win at shows, Splash would be an excellent choice.  A real ‘look at me’ presence as well as outstanding movement and correct conformation and a very laid back attitude because his form of Splashed White has caused deafness – this is an advantage at shows & events because he can’t hear the frightening noises that scare many horses. He’d also make a stunning reiner.  $5000 neg.

“Pepper”  A brown buckskin yearling gelding by Days of Gold out of a T’bred mare (Josie’s Little Jem, by Baanya Boy, pedigree includes Crewman, Aloe, Biscay).  He can be registered A1 with AQHA, Buckskin & Ancillary with DA.  He should mature about 15.2 and should make a top mount for hacking, HUS, pony club, polocrosse, trail riding, etc  $3000

“Sweet Pea” a black filly out of a Warmblood mare by the Paint stallion Deadly Ransom (by RJ Ransom).  She looks set to mature about 16 hands, has the lovely big paces of the Warmblood and the great nature of her sire.  Sweetie will make a lovely all round competition horse for someone wanting a ‘best friend’ who can win at dressage, hacking and jumping and be a lovely riding horse.  If unsold, Sweetie will grow out here and become one of our riding horses.  We will consider offers from experienced horse homes.
No photos currently available. Please check www.horsesofgold.com or email for photos and video link

“Effie” Amber Champagne QH filly out of Whilla Be Dun.  Born  October 2009.   We wish to keep this filly as part of our broodmare band in the future, so she is not currently for sale.  If someone is really keen to promote and breed Champagnes, we may consider selling her.

“Blaze” (stable name only) Palomino colt by Tintaras Chandra out of a Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare, “Close To Sober” (pedigree includes Noalcoholic, Getting Closer, Vain).  Born December 27, 2009.  He should mature into a stunning coloured palomino.  Wonderful conformation.  Will be Stud Book Australian Stock Horse registered as well as Palomino & Ancillary with DA.  He should mature to 16 hands or over.  He will do extremely well at halter before starting under saddle and should make an excellent dressage, hacking or eventing horse.  We wish to campaign this foal ourselves as he will be difficult to beat in the Palomino ring, but will consider serious offers if someone feels they ‘have to have’ Blaze.
